Payment Schedules
Our fiscal year runs from July 1st thru June 30th.
South Suburban is currently on a monthly billing schedule.
Bills are generated on the first business day of each month and customer payments will be due the 25th (or following business day) of each month.
Payment Options
We accept payments via online bill pay, mail-in checks, in person at our office, or through your bank's bill pay service.
Mail in:
Checks can be mailed to 2201 Laverne Ave. Klamath Falls, OR 97603. Make checks payable to South Suburban Sanitary District or SSSD.
Please note: Payments must be received in office by the due date noted on your statement to avoid late penalty- make sure to send checks out with plenty of time to reach us!
In office:
We accept cash, check, or card payments in person at our office at 2201 Laverne Ave. Klamath Falls, OR 97603.
All card payments are subject to a 2.95% processing fee.
online bill pay:
We accept online payments via card ( subject to 2.95% processing fee) or E-check (no additional fee).
Customers may choose to register an account to login and submit payment, or make a one-time guest payment.
bank bill pay:
Many customers choose to submit payment via their bank's bill pay service.
Please not that this service is not connected to our system and we will be unable to assist you with any changes/issues regarding bank bill pay payments.
Please contact your banking establishment for directions on how to set this up.
Penalties
A penalty of 3% or $3.00, whichever is more, will be assessed at the end of each month if the minimum amount due has not been paid.
At the end of our fiscal year (June 30th) any accounts with unpaid fees of $50.00 or more will be subject to an additional 18% certification penalty, and will then have the delinquent fees added to their property taxes as a lien.
Discounts*
The following discounts are offered by the District:
Senior Discount (15%)
A 15% discount for citizens who are 65 or older, and who own and live in their residence.
We must receive a completed senior discount application (provided below) AND a copy of valid picture ID as proof of age and primary residence for the discount to be applied.
This form can be submitted in person at our office at 2201 Laverne Ave., online under the "Contact Us" option, or by mail.
The discount will begin the month we receive and approve the following form along with proof of age.
This discount is available for residential properties only.
Only one (1) residence per owner is eligible to receive the senior discount.

THIRD PARTY PAYMENT FORM
If you are renting your property, or having someone else manage your sewer payments, a 3rd Party Payment Form will need to be filled out.
This form can be submitted in person at our office at 2201 Laverne Ave., online under the "Contact Us" option, or by mail.
